Total, Technip, Suez Energy, and Compagnie Franfaise des Petroles (CFP), the French national oil company had been Iran’s Oil Ministry’s focus on the sidelines of the 26th World Gas Conference in Paris.
Hamidreza Araghi confirmed the news on the negotiations with French companies along with Turkish BOTAŞ, which was to attract new investments to Iran’s gas industries in five fields of refining, transfer, distribution, restore, and trade of gas.
Araghi, who is the directing manager of the INGC, announced holding talks with the Mouvement des enterprises de France (MEDEF, a French acronym) or the ‘Movement of the Enterprises of France.’
“In coordination with Iran’s embassy in Paris, 18 projects of Iran’s gas industries were presented including 9th and 11th pipelines of the national gas grid, 7th pipeline of the same grid, and other restoring projects; the session also provided for the French side BOO (Build, Own, and Operate) and BOT (Build, Operate, and Transfer) schemes of investment,” he detailed, adding that the fair and the congress displayed a good welcome for Iran’s participation in this version of the event.
